A message from the Ontario Lacrosse Association:
We are now two (2!!) weeks away from our first Officiating Certification Clinic for 2026. Early player registration numbers are in and numbers are up, up, up! OMFLL is expecting to see even more teams than last year. In short - there is a LOT of lacrosse coming this spring.
With this kind of growth in the game the number officials working games needs to keep pace. Right now our numbers are showing that we are going to have trouble getting games played. As leaders within your own club this where you can be a huge help.
Lacrosse needs people who are willing to try officiating. Connect with graduating players, recent grads, current and former coaches, former players currently playing at a collegiate level, Mom & Dads, Aunts & Uncles - we need adults who are willing to give this side of lacrosse a try. If you have parents and club members who weren't happy with the officiating they saw - send them our way! Lacrosse thrives when passionate people are involved. Officials need to be at least 14 years of age during the 2026 calendar year.
If you are looking for clinic information like dates and venues, information for clinics can be found here.
